WorkReady Summer Programs

APM WorkReady will host 12-15 year old youth during Summer 2023 at two locations: Juniata Park and North Philadelphia off Temple University's campus. Youth will participate in an early learning project where they will obtain skills to necessary to begin their path into professional and working adults. These skills include: financial literacy, resume writing, interview skills, social connections, community supports and development, and social justice.

We will only accept youth who we share our code with. Workready summer program at kcapa will help students be ready for jobs and workshops

​Working for Success is a program designed to help young people achieve their dream careers. We ask our young people what they want to be when they grow up, and we do everything in our power to give them an internship within that career field. We have a 90% placement in the top two career choices of our young people. We hope to not only expose our young people to careers and opportunities that fit within their dream, but to nurture and support their passion into a vision and a path to get there

Please join us for the Summer Niche Jobs program! All youth who join our program will receive a combination of financial literacy and internship experiences aligned to their future dream jobs or niches. Youth will learn about investing, banking, and financial planning. Youth will travel to, improve upon, observe, and work for a variety of Philadelphia-based businesses and agencies to explore their future career interests.
