SEAMAACs Hip Hop Heritage summer WorkReady program aims to build the next generation of artists in Philadelphia. Our team of instructors teaches youth ages 13-20 the arts of Hip Hop. H3 is a project-based learning program focusing on graffiti, music production, and photography. Providing an incentivized experience for youth interested in a career in the arts, H3 also focuses on building youth skills, such as communication and leadership through a lens of social justice. Temple Univeristy - The University Community Collaborative

seeks to build the individual and collective power of youth to make positive change in their communities. Our program design achieves this through project based learning that is tied to community issues of importance to the youth; that places a heavy emphasis on teamwork and cooperation; that reaches out to community organizations as partners; and that includes technological and creative arts components. We will only accept youth who we share our code with. The School District of Philadelphia, through The Office of Career and Technical Education, will provide summer employment and enrichment opportunities for high school students between 14 and 18 years of age. The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Employment Program is an innovative program that affords CTE students, who currently attend Philadelphia Public Schools, the opportunity to gain valuable work experiences and develop meaningful skills that can be used in their future careers.

Village Of Arts & Humanities

Our award-winning programs offer excellent free arts education and paid creative opportunities to youth. Taught by top working artists, our programs support young people to enter the workforce and postsecondary education as creative problem solvers and social innovators. Studios offered are: Music Production Dance Voice Studio Fashion Design Clay + Ceramics Philly Earth (Urban Farming) Photography Graphic Design + Event Production

We ONLY serve students currently enrolled at the Workshop School. The Workshop School offers current Workshop students the opportunity to participate in a WorkReady Summer experience that is an extension and expansion of work students participate in during the academic year. In previous years, students participated in mural making, completed automotive projects, and engaged in internship opportunities across the city. Staff at Workshop are working hard to confirm our program offerings for summer 2023. Stay tuned for more information!
