Greater Philadelphia Community Alliance
Our programs provide opportunities for rising 8th grade youth (ages 12-14) to develop the beginnings of a strong vocational identity, understand what careers are available in local, high-priority growth industries, and what skills and experience those careers require.

Harlem Lacrosse
This program is currently full and not accepting applications. We will only accept youth who we share our code with. Harlem Lacrosse works to provide opportunities, relationships, and experiences that activate the skills and traits to put youth on a path to success as students, athletes, and citizens. Harlem Lacrosse - Philadelphia's WorkReady program provides the opportunity and space for our high school and graduated participants to develop the habits and skills to be successful post-high school graduation (both professional, academic, and athletically). Prior experience with lacrosse is preferred.

Jevs Human Services
JEVS Human Services will host a central hub for our youth interested in exploring new job/training and leadership development opportunities while increasing their life skills to assist in improving workforce development practices in the communities. Our Young people are able to connect families to a holistic experience and services by leveraging our own programs and initiatives along with current partnerships with youth serving organizations and programs throughout the city.

This program is FULL and not currently accepting new applications. Lenfest Center for Community Workforce Partnership (LCCWP) is a waged-based provider partner who connect young people, ages 14-18 years old with limited or no work experience, to opportunities within our citywide network of worksites. The program includes placement in a professional work environment, workforce development workshops, and ongoing learning opportunities for reflection. Youth who are motivated to learn and open-minded to new experiences are encouraged to apply.

LNESC Philadelphia's WorkReady Program serves youth from ages 14-18. Our goal is to provide youth with their first work experience through our 6 week summer program. As part of this program students will be connected to a variety of professions including Education, STEM, medical, and maintenance.

MET WorkReady Summer Program provides job related skills training, career and employment preparation services, public/private relationship building community engagement services, job shadowing and institutional job placement exposure. Students receive hourly wages, engage in role playing and work site practice experiences and diversified entreprenuership training and work site placements.

We will only accept youth who we share our code with. This six-week early incentive-based program introduces students to hands-on work readiness experiences in what it takes to be a working artist. Through project-based learning, employing drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, and mural making, students learn to develop their own creative portfolio while working with locally and nationally known artists.

We will only accept youth who we share our code with. The Netter Center & Philadelphia Youth Network School-Year and Summer WorkReady Programs recruit current 6th–12th graders ages 12 and up in Philadelphia to participate in a unique internship experience. Students will learn about a variety of career and college pathways, engage in professional development sessions and participate in virtual trips and guest speaker sessions to increase their knowledge and understanding of different careers. Students who are selected will be eligible for a stipend.
