District 1199c Training And Upgrading Fund
WorkReady with the PEACE Peers focuses on Professional Development, Student achievement, goal setting, and mentorship. Throughout enrollment with us, students will not only receive 21st-century transferable skills but gain an opportunity to receive a mentor at the workplace who will assist in developing them into young professionals ready for the real world. Our program also offers opportunities to explore a large range of industries and trips to post-secondary education facilities.

E4E will offer a six week 20 hours workready program. This programs will provide participants the opportunity to work on site at community-based organizations to Game valuable work experience.

We will only accept youth who we share our code with. Our program is a comprehensive program that will allow participants to gain knowledge of a variety of skills-based on the worksite assigned. Skills that may be learned, fashion, community service, education and more.

Working for Success is a program designed to help young people achieve their dream careers. We ask our young people what they want to be when they grow up, and we do everything in our power to give them an internship within that career field. We have a 90% placement in the top two career choices of our young people. We hope to not only expose our young people to careers and opportunities that fit within their dream, but to nurture and support their passion into a vision and a path to get there

Free Library Of Philadelphia
The Free Library plans to hire youth to take part in LEAP into the Future , a hands-on career skills building 6 week program. Youth hired will work to support the Free Library of Philadelphia’s city-wide Summer of Wonder program by leading literacy-rich, hands-on activities for children and teens.

Girls Inc. Of Greater Philadelphia & Southern Nj
Mentoring Young Women In Construction (MyWIC) Camp is a six-week camp for girls age 12- 14 interested in learning more about pursuing a career in construction. Girls will gain hands-on experience in construction trades while participating in an incentivized program. In-person days will be held at BOK located in South Philadelphia, 1901 S. 9th Street, Suite 602 Philadelphia, PA 19148.

Our program is designed for youth ages 14-18 with minimal to no prior work experience. This program will allow youth to collectively address real-world issues, problems and needs within the local, regional, national or global community. Youth work in groups to explore these issues through research, reflection and development of projects, as well as through direct service and/or advocacy.

Our programs are designed for youth ages 14-18 which and provide a structured early work experience combined with learning opportunities to youth who have never worked before. We assist youth in understanding how to best prepare themselves to become active and productive members of the workforce. This program will allow youth to collectively address real-world issues, problems and needs within the local, regional, Some youth are placed at actual worksites based on their interest levels.
